Our western spot and stalk bear hunts put you right in the thick of the action. You'll have the opportunity to hunt in diverse mountain habitats: clear cuts, burn areas, meadows, huckleberry patches, and along grassy old logging roads. Our region, Idaho's GMU 1, boasts a high population of color phase black bears to include sun patch genetics. Hunts typically last 5 days and comprise of two hunters per guide. However, we can arrange one-on-one hunts, accommodate larger groups, and adjust the lengthof your hunt to fit your schedule. Prepare for all sorts of weather - from sweltering 85-degree days to freezing snowy conditions. You never know what the mountain with throw at you! This hunt demands stamina; be ready to hike several miles daily. Safety is our buggest priority, and our guides are prepared. We have a dense grizzly and wolf population, and will happily allow you to take a wolf for an additional trophy fee. Our fall hunts often occur in the vicinity of high alpine lakes loaded with westslope cutthroat trout, so bring a rod and reel.
